All question types explained
The full list of 22 answer types and 3 layout elements — and what each is best for.

Essentials — Text (short answers), Long text (paragraphs), Number (with optional min/max), Email, Phone, Website (each validated automatically), Date.
Choices — Dropdown (one of many, compact), Single choice (one of few, visible), Multiple choice (several answers), Choice grid (one answer per row — e.g. rating several aspects), Tick-box grid (several answers per row).
Ratings & scales — Star rating (3–10 stars), Number scale (e.g. 0–10, with optional end labels), Labeled scale (e.g. "disagree … agree"), Slider, Range slider (a from–to span).
Quick reactions — Like/Dislike, Smiley scale (five faces), Custom emoji scale (your own symbols).
Files & proof (Pro) — File upload (one file per question, size limit you set, up to 100 MB; optionally restricted to images, PDF or Office documents), Signature (drawn with finger or mouse).
Layout elements — Title, Description, Divider: structure, no answers.
Text questions can enforce minimum/maximum length; number questions a value range. Every answering type has the required toggle.
Tip
Need several documents from one person? Add several file-upload questions — one per document — and name each precisely ("Insurance card", "Referral letter").
