The form builder at a glance
Add, edit, duplicate and reorder questions — with a live preview at every step.
Last updated July 7, 2026
The builder has three tabs per form: Overview (stats, sharing, publish controls), Questions (the builder itself) and Settings.
In Questions, every question is a card:
- Add — choose a type from the picker; new questions can also be inserted directly above or below an existing one.
- Edit — opens the question with its options on one side and a live preview on the other. What you see is exactly what respondents get.
- Duplicate — copies a question with all its settings; the copy lands right underneath.
- Reorder — drag the handle on the left of a card to move it.
- Delete — removes the question after confirmation.
Structure long forms with the layout elements Title, Description and Divider — they organize the page without asking anything.
Note
Conditional logic (show question X only if …) is available on the Pro plan: open a question, switch on "Show this question only if…", and point a rule at an earlier answer. Anything a respondent does not see is never stored — hidden answers are removed before the submission is encrypted. On the Free plan you can set a rule up and preview it, but publishing a form that uses one needs Pro; two focused forms remain a good alternative, and they are free to create on every plan.
Tip
The builder warns you before you leave with unsaved changes — Save early and often; saving never affects your live form.
