Editing a live form safely
Your edits stay private until you press Publish changes — the live form never breaks.

Every form keeps two versions: your draft (what you see in the builder) and the published version (what respondents see). Saving edits changes only the draft — the live form keeps collecting responses, completely untouched.
When your draft differs from the live version, the form shows an Unpublished changes marker. You then have two buttons:
- Publish changes — your draft becomes the new live version, in one step.
- Discard changes — your draft is reset to match the live version.
This means you can safely rework a form on Tuesday that's being filled in on Tuesday. Respondents mid-form are never interrupted; the link never changes.
Note
Publish changes re-checks your plan's features — if your draft added something outside your plan (say, a signature question on Free), publishing tells you before anything goes live.
Tip
Renaming a form, changing its icon, or exporting responses works anytime and touches neither version.
