Automatic form translation

Offer one form in up to four languages — translated at publish, kept in sync automatically.

Last updated July 7, 2026

The original language of a form is fixed when the form is created, from your app language at that moment. Building a French form while your app is in German? Switch the app to French first, then create the form.

Enabling translation — in the form's settings, switch on automatic translation and tick the target languages (any of DE / FR / IT / EN beyond the original).

What happens — when you Publish (or Publish changes), the translations are generated — you'll see a short progress window. Everything you wrote is translated: questions, descriptions, answer options, your thank-you page. The form's fixed interface (buttons, error messages) is already professionally translated.

Staying in sync — translations always match the published version. Edit your form and publish changes: translations refresh with it. Unchanged texts aren't re-translated, so updates are fast.

Your inbox stays monolingual — however respondents answer, choices are mapped back to your original wording. A French « Oui » arrives as your «Ja» — statistics and exports stay uniform.

Note

Translation runs on Swiss infrastructure (Infomaniak AI Services) and involves only your own form text — never any respondent's answer. If a language's translation isn't ready or fails, that language simply isn't offered; your form is never blocked by it.

Tip

Review matters for legal texts: for consent declarations, read the translated form once via its public link (switch language there) before distributing.
